Elisium IGT Veneto Bianco Passito

This wine is produced from Garganega and Trebbiano grapes which are carefully selected and handpicked in mid-October from vineyard in Valpolicella Classica in the town Marano di Valpolicella. The vines are at 250 to 350 metres above sea level. The “Elisium” harvest only takes place if it is a good year for the grapes and we produce 300/400 bottles of “Elisium” which are sold using Burgundy bottles of 500 ml, sealed with a natural cork.
“Elisium” has a golden colour with amber reflections, it’s bouquet is intense and lingering with notes of flowers, ripe white pulp fruits, dried fruits such as almonds. There is a hint of apricot, honey, orange blossom and vanilla. The taste is warm, smooth, full- bodied, structured with a hint at tartness for a balanced palate. The suggested serving temperature is 16° C and it is an ideal wine for drinking with puddings and herb cheeses but must be tried with Tiramisù.
